LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: It was another wild ride last week,
but this time the ride was more fun than the prior week.
Significant trade took place mostly on Wednesday with a
little cleanup on Thursday and Friday. The full range of
Southern live trade was $116 to $122, mostly $119 to $120, $9
to $10 higher than the previous week. Northern dressed deals
ranged from $180 to $191, mostly $190, roughly $17 higher
than the week before. According to the Friday afternoon
Mandatory reports weekly trade volumes were as follows: KS
21,221; NE 31,549; TX 10,266; IA 26,929; CO not available due
to confidentiality.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS: The country is quiet this morning with
bids and asking prices not established. Significant trade
volume will likely be delayed until the second half of the
week. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with generally
light box movement.

For the week ending March 21, 2020, Imported Beef Passed for
Entry in the U.S. totaled 38,038, 104.18% of the previous week
and 107.13% of the 4-week average.
